The right candidate will work with 9 lawyers, transcribing audio dictation into MS Word.
Must have experience in civil litigation, and medical malpractice, e-filing with courts, court pleadings, scheduling, and dictation.
85% of the work is dictation of court pleadings, direct instructions, and tasks to complete as needed.
The position is fully on-site.
A degree is preferred but not required.
Must have at least 3 years of experience in civil litigation and malpractice.
Requirement:
Ability to type quickly and accurately, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, familiarity with legal terminology, ability to work in a team setting, excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail Physical Requirement:
The physical ability to utilize all office equipment and produce required written and printed documentation.
The physical ability to complete all required administrative functions.
The ability to travel to/ from various agency locations, meetings, and seminars as needed.
