4K a year POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment experience.
The TAS will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Place job postings on applicable recruiting venues and track applicant flow via HRIS.
Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Schedules and assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
Facilitates all additional recruitment activities including, but not limited to, interacting with candidates to obtain necessary information, calendar management, obtain and screen pre-hire employment credit checks and post-hire background checks against Bank and applicable employment guidelines to ensure compliance.
Facilitate The Bank's participation in recruiting events including job fairs, and additional posting platforms.
Establish connections through various avenues, including but not limited to surrounding schools, chambers and nonprofit organizations.
Make recommendations to improve policies and procedures that include mitigating risk to the Bank while balancing employee retention.
Assists with the administration of company-wide HR policies, procedures and practices in accordance with stated company objectives and Federal and State legal requirements.
Maintain applicant and employee records under EEOC and OFCCP guidelines.
Support the HR team in completing all tasks associated with appropriate employee checklists, including, but not limited to, new hires, terminations, address and name changes, and employee status changes.
Assist the HR team with various research projects and/or special projects.
Performs other duties as required.
Completes all required compliance training as assigned in a timely manner.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Experience:
At least three years of experience in facilitation or coordination of the recruitment process within the Talent Acquisition area of Human Resources.
Ability to generate positive relationships with internal and external business consumers.
Candidate should be detail oriented, be able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
EDUCATION:
A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
