- Greeting patients, in person or on the telephone; collecting new patient information
- Patient scheduling
- Keeping patient information confidential
- Maintaining office supplies by anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies
- Completing data base backup
- Maintaining technical knowledge and skills
- Recording reimbursements, patient co-pays, and patient balances; making weekly deposits; mailing billing statements to patients and insurance companies

Secretary Skills and Qualification:
- Microsoft Office Skills, Professionalism, Confidentiality, Typing, Verbal Communication
Hours: 15-20 hours/week

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
