About the Opportunity

As an Audit and Monitoring Manager you will be accountable for strategic development and operational delivery of the medical governance monitoring and audit requirements across the UK and Ireland. Specifically you will:



  • Develop an annual medical governance audit and monitoring plan prioritising high risk areas and requesting resources to ensure on time delivery

  • Ensure a robust system of audit methodology, audit review and reporting is in place with continuous improvement at the heart of all monitoring work

  • Make recommendations to the Head of Medical Governance, CCs and CMCs on necessary action plans, CAPAs or change controls to mitigate risk

  • Lead feedback of audit and monitoring plans to the relevant governance committees, Country Council members, GBU Medical leads and process owners including potential solutions


About Sanofi Business Unit

Reporting directly to the Head of Medical Governance, as the Audit and Monitoring Manager within the Medical Governance team you will lead the development and operational delivery of the code compliance monitoring plan across the organization in the UK and Ireland. Identifying and communicating areas of risk and putting plans in place to manage these you will be integral to ensuring we continue to work in an ethical and transparent manner.


Key responsibilities

  • Develop an annual medical governance audit and monitoring plan prioritising high risk areas and requesting resources to ensure on time delivery

  • Provide leading edge expertise in audit delivery for medical governance, support others to implement that methodology and also personally deliver audits as per the agreed annual plan

  • Provide solutions and recommendations to the appropriate governance route based on topic and issue to mitigate or address risks to UK or Ireland compliance to medical or Code related activity

  • Manage the Audit and Monitoring Executive to deliver the agreed annual plan



About You

Essential requirements:



  • Demonstrated leadership capability with proven track record of leading projects

  • Ability to make difficult decisions when required

  • Strong influencing and networking, verbal and written communication skills required

  • Demonstrated analytical ability in previous roles

  • Demonstrated ability to pull together multiple sources of information and make concrete recommendations on mitigating actions

  • Good understanding of the UK and Irish regulatory environment relating to promotion of pharmaceuticals, devices and OTC, self- care products

  • Understanding the internal compliance environment including GPS framework (or equivalent)

  • Ideally audit experience gained even if not primary role

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
