Junior Finance Business Partner Diabetes and Cardiovascular - VIE Contract (W/M)

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship. PLEASE NOTE that applications that are only submitted in French cannot be considered by our non-French speaking partners at Sanofi worldwide. Junior Finance Business Partner, Diabetes and Cardiovascular - VIE Contract (W/M)

Job purpose overview:
- Provision of quality, accurate and timely financial support, driving accountability for performance and monitoring of expenses and investments
- Acting as link between the business area/enabling function and FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis team) to support financial planning, monitoring and reporting
Responsibilities:


Acting as Finance business partner:


- Assisting in evaluation of investment/commercial opportunities and resource allocation decisions


- Assisting in the development of system tools


- Driving real accountability for return on investment and sales performance as appropriate


- Developing financial knowledge of budget holders and defining review processes to support effective prioritization of investment/spend activities


- Supporting Financial, Forecasting and Business Planning


Monitoring financial performance:


- Coordinating and reviewing month-end process


- Monitoring results against forecast/budget


- Evaluating and highlighting risks


Controlling Processes:


- Ensuring existence of budgetary control via the corporate project approval process and Purchase to pay process (P2P)


- Ensuring the close monitoring of rebate accruals


- Ensuring accuracy of P2P transactions and providing adequate integrity for reporting purposes


Management of Resources:


- Accurately raising Purchase Requisitions


- Attending to invoice system requests quickly and efficiently


Environmental and Safety Leadership:


- Caring for own safety and wellbeing and the safety of others
Candidate's profile:


A/ Education: Business Degree with financial knowledge/or Finance Degree


B/ Experience:


- Project management experience desirable


- Good financial modelling skills


- Good commercial understanding (including outside the pure Pharma environment)


C/ Soft skills:


- Good communication skills


- Ability to influence/persuade at Senior Management and Leadership team level


- Analytical, creative and demonstrated ability to anticipate risks


D/ IT tools: proficiency in Excel (eg. minimum: Pivot Tables, Charts, ?if formula); knowledge of any other planning tools such as SAP, Codex, would be an advantage


E/ Language: proficiency in English

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
